Need of For You
When people say we want to donate reusable things‐we strongly feel that after using as per our need we don't donate, we actually discard. A Program launched by Citizens Foundation, where with large civic participation, For You is trying to becoming a big people’s movement for progress. For You will be a platform to innovate some unconventional ideas that gets space in the development process.
We realized that there is a need for supporting the needy through extending our support by facilitating them in getting their bare minimum needs fulfilled, so that they can cover their bodies with appropriate clothing, educate their children and live a life of dignity.
What We Do
Citizens Foundation is working in multiple areas of development with pan India Operation presently implementing different projects in the states of Jharkhand, Bihar, Meghalaya, Uttarakhand and Chhattisgarh. The organization has gained rich experience over the years in various domains of development especially NRM and Livelihood, Health Care and Education. Currently it supports more than 2.5 lakh households through its direct interventions. The organization has partnered with array of donors including Government of India and respective State Governments, Corporate Sector and International agencies. Citizens Foundation is marching ahead with the motto of ‘team spirit’ with the help of its efficient staff and various donors .It also shares a good rapport with other NGOs for networking purpose. The organization practices Integrated Development Approach combining all components of development like Natural Resource Management, livelihood promotion, Community health & hygiene and Child Education & Development as its core instruments of social welfare. It also takes up policy advocacy as the supplementary tool for ensuring development for all.
